Nature makes fresh water, by the evaporation the seawater over a huge areas!  And mankind waits for the rain close to rain on the dry land.  We can do better!

Five physical detonation, water boils at one atmosphere pressure, with one metre of vacuum.  Even ice at 0° C will form water vapour!

So any group of houses can group together, and set up a street water scheme.  Where they are paid to install a polyurethane pipe from the nearest stream or river, to suck water vapour out, over a one metre incline, and to the highest house in the street.

We inject the water vapour above a modified water tank.  Where the drops of water vapour work or less and four to fill the water tank.  And the other houses have a water line leading off!  As a pinch we could use existing water main.

British water has been sold off to the French.  Who follows no alternative to British water.  They were very wrong!  And in France they can use a vacuum pump to purify the river or stream water.  And cease paying for expensive mains water.

In drought years like 1976, British water can suck fresh water from the sea, and replace the reservoirs.  Without any defensive infrastructure!

So water is basically free!
