That’s the provocative hypothesis: that the act of photosynthesis doesn’t just shuffle electrons—it sparks low-level molecular nuclear fusion, producing X-rays, helium, and even affecting carbon isotopes in ways that could rewrite our understanding of biology, physics, and Earth’s energy systems.

? The Core Idea: X-Rays from Plants?

It’s claimed that green crops, under sunlight, emit faint X-rays during photosynthesis. If true, this points to a process involving energy transitions at the atomic level far beyond classical chemistry.

• A field of growing plants emits X-rays in daylight, but not in darkness.

• No chemical process is known to produce X-rays this way.

• Therefore, the argument goes, something nuclear must be happening.

This perspective invokes Sherlock Holmes logic: eliminate the impossible, and whatever remains—however improbable—must be the truth.

⚛️ Molecular Fusion: Water, Turbulence, and Lightning

The theory goes further: suggesting that turbulent water molecules during storms or within biological systems undergo molecular nuclear fusion, breaking apart into helium, oxygen, and X-rays.

Proposed reactions include:

H2O + Turbulence → He + O + X-ray
CO2 + H2O + Light + Chlorophyll → Carbohydrates + O2 + He + X-rays

It’s not unlike lightning—where extreme conditions sometimes produce gamma-ray bursts and high-energy electrons. Could biology be mimicking these natural particle accelerators?

To enter the present limit of just two parts per million.  It was four PPM in the Jurassic, and is 85% more active life on earth.  The sea levels were 60 metres lower.  As term percent more oxygen in the air.

As life recovered from a mass extinction caused by the asteroid hitting near Mexico, photosynthesis got twice as cool as at metabolising carbon dioxide.

Back to natural warming this year!  Still without fix two PPM carbon dioxide in the air.  The last time I saw professor Z he would not concede that manmade global warming climate change were paid fiction by nuclear power.  And he is so totally wrong.

Heat army is away trying to devise another reason for climate change - as carbon dioxide had nothing to do with the weather.

Every afternoon around the temperate earth, carbon dioxide is reduced to just two parts per million, by photosynthesis on land and sea.

The burnt fossil fuels are converted into active plant biomass within 5 minutes around the earth.  The level in the present epoch has just been 2 PPM.

Except over the arctic winter, where we have four PPM carbon dioxide in the year.  Temperature -50° C!

The fossil fuels were all active biology in prehistory!  Mostly in the Jurassic.  There is 85% more active life!  Though there was four PPM carbon dioxide in the temperate there.

Above the arctics in winter there was eight PPM carbon dioxide in the air.  Air temperature the same -50° C!

The natural climate has been cooling around the world since 1995.  It will next warm again 2023 - control by a predictable solar emission cycles.  So all the planets in the inner solar system have been cooling since 1995.

Including Mars up to 98% carbon dioxide in the air.  And no active photosynthesis!  We should send across balloons with growing plants, to utilised the ultraviolet light, and chemo come dioxide into the carbohydrates of life and surplus oxygen!

We could develop this science over by arctics on earth.  Where there is 4 PPM carbon dioxide in the air,

Nuclear power bills its power plants from reinforced concrete.  Produced using a fossil fuel burn on limestone!  He had seen the two years of plant construction, the Covent carbon emissions from a commercially fired 100 megawatt power station in 25 years!

Each nuclear plant knees annual insurance cover of 100 billion: since Fukushima in 2010.  40 billion annually since Chernobyl in 1986.

Without adequate insurance United Nations has the legal imperative to shut down every nuclear power plant on earth!

The home user can use the electronics from a fluorescent light, to fire up a 50x1cm steam plasma are four atmospheres.  Which are release a constant 2.4 MW of heat.

A steam turbine self serving to it will turn into warm 0.2 MW of carbon neutral mains electricity.  Utilising just 10⁻ⁱ⁵cc of regular water a year: science developed on my PH D work at Sheffield University 2001.

The PH D was was mysteriously ended!  As I told Sheffield had to free carbon zero electricity.  Destroying the funding from nuclear power to research the weather!  They know nothing about.

Any high school biology teacher could inform them that global carbon dioxide is a static trace gas.  Affecting nothing!  Supporting all biological life on earth.
