After Chernobyl in 1986, every operating nuclear power station needed annual insurance cover of 40 billion.  90% of the safety recommendations were never implemented!  So we had Fukushima 2010.

When Germany and Japan both banned nuclear power in their territories!  Insurance then rose to 100 billion per 100 MW power plant.  They carry a criminally insufficient 50 million!

But they are not carbon zero!  An active nuclear power building programme is mankind's fourth biggest source of carbon dioxide.  It is that fossil fuel burn on limestone!  To produce all that concrete.  Commercial power at her us to build its plants as a bricks and mortar.
