Natural gas, (mainly methane), has very different burning properties from manufactured gas and it was necessary to adapt or replace every gas appliance in Britain (around 20 million)! The conversion started in 1967 and took ten years to complete.

Who fail to mention that the production of into nuclear power plant, involves no fossil fuel heating are massive amounts of limestone - to produce concrete. Making an active nuclear power building programme mankind's fourth largest source of carbon dioxide.
But we can use the 1912 patent, to manufacture methane in chemical plants. Ici in particular can produce all the European requirement for natural gas, in three months!
We start off with the production of free electricity: which really are void so the need to burn or oil and gas! We use a steam plasma. The practical experiments will family done for me by a contact in America. I have been screaming at my PH D supervisor to do the experiments, at his chair of chemically engineering was paid for by uranium nuclear power!
My contact found that a 30x1cm steam plasma would freeze a constant 1 MW of heat. Presumably as atmospheric pressure! I calculated steam plasma at four atmospheres, would produce 2.4 MW.
So we pump to the steam plasma in a water boiler, an run a steam turbine. And get out there ½ MW of DC current: the transforming into AC mains synchronised electricity.

We condense carbon dioxide as the air at -20° C. So now we have carbon dioxide and hydrogen. At which stage we need to heat the gases up. Using the heat from the refrigeration cycle.
We wander over 380° C. And pass the gas is over a helical aluminium catalyst. And now we get the Sebatier reaction - 1! We get off methane and water.
More car no cooling I am afraid! We produce a liquid methane - basically odourless natural gas. Which has a highly commercial value today! And ICI can produce it by their hundreds of tonnes an hour.

And the emission of X rays and light from burning fossil fuels is on record! There is no chemical source of light and X rays. And oxidise the carbon takes in energy. But the nuclear fusion we are doing produces helium and oxygen gases, with a light and X rays!
So a flame of fossil fuels is it doing nuclear fusion! Which professor Z described as nuclear fusion, and professor argent turned molecular nuclear fusion.

Now ICI can use the Sebatier reaction, to produce almost limitless natural gas. That is a carbon neutral fuel. Which is science familiar to every chemist in chemical engineer on the planet.
In the same way he low pressure diesel oil will not burn - but highly pressure and diesel oil spontaneously ignites. So now we're not with Anton fossil gas sources.
Any small engineering company can make 'natural' gas.
If we pass the methane repeatedly threw an an aluminium honeycomb catalyst fuel oil drips out. Carbon12 is diesel, and carbon16 is petrol. So small chemical firms can make diesel and petrol oil.
