| Don't kill the teacher |
OFSTED is the school inspection agency. From my days at school, teachers were always terrified of outside inspection! As it would teachers would not Kings of their own doings! There is a outside scrutiny of their actions.
Which is are only correct! But now we have the situation where highly valued teacher is an head teachers, are committing suicide! That was never the intention of external inspections.
Having your school placed into special measures, is seen as a massive insult into head teachers. Who were trained to be good teachers. Never expected to be good administrators.
It cannot be right, that the teaching profession is being decimated by external inspections. OFSTED needs to be looked at carefully.
