UK Weather: Met Office forecasts snow over Christmas period
As every year, the Met Office is doing its damnedest to insist they do not know what the weather will do. It seems likely that they are due a White Christmas.
Our best guide is Christmas 1996: as the weather has 28 year periods of warming and cooling. The climate by naturally predictable 28 year periods or cellar emission increases and decreases. Totally outside man's control!
In the run up to Christmas 1996 we saw the block to the NE build stronger and by Christmas itself winds were in from the east. The last week was very cold with hard frosts and heavy snow showers. One of those months often forgotten about, probably because it came on the back of a colder December.5 Dec 2020
The weather is a mystery. The guy he invented weather forecasts committed suicide as a result. The big money is on Christmas 2024 the very Dickensian and white. Charles Dickens are living in a time of natural climatic cooling.
