When he was chair of the Crown Prosecution Service, Keir Starmer took the decision not to prosecute Jimmy Saville.  Apparently because he did not think the prosecution would succeed.

BBC stopped his shop 'Jimm'll fix it'.  Which had been essential viewing when I was a child.  Even stranger Esta Ransome the presenter from 'That's Life'bought his involvement with her charity Childline.
