Alcohol duty falls

Go 0%

Rachel Reeves is desperate!  Every labour government in history has increased tax rates.  But Keir Starmer is already the least popular prime minister, so quickly after his general election victory.

He had a 50% election popularity and the general election nights.  Hardly a ringing endorsement!  The latest polls show it is just 5% popularity.  That is a sort of popular it promises get in the fourth year of the government.  Before a Falklands war gets you RE elected.

But there has being a technological shift.  If you apply 98cm of vacuum to wine, you suck out the arkle without affecting the flavor.  Number of the boiling to remove alcohol - which has a massive flavor effect.

You can do the same trick on beer, and suck out the alcohol.  Which you can use to free use the purest vodka on the planet.  Though I don't drink the staff!

Alcohol free beer does not affect the driving of they are designated driver.  And today and alcohol free beer is excellent!  And crucially it does not warrant a duty charge.

Which is a tax on alcoholic drinks.  So as the world there is over to alcohol free beverages though duty income of world treasuryies is crashing.

Just as labour and Rachel Reeves are looking at increasing alcohol duty - because they can.  But public houses are vanishing as an increasing level, as competition from the supermarkets is wiping out the pubs.

An increase in the beverage duty, is the death warrant of every surviving public house.

The UK government owns 10 billion a year for taxes on natural gas.  Handling pension as the winter fuel allowance, costs just one billion.  And will save 5000 lives winter 2024.

The scrapping the winter fuel allowance will push Keir Starmer's popularity into negative territory.  These people would happily pour a bucket of freezing water over the UK prime minister walking beneath.

Keir Starmer will be well advised to employees somebody to carry an umbrella over his head at all times.  It is not a fatal protest.  Just a slight annoyance, for least popular prime minister in UK electoral history.

He can afford to maintain the winter fuel allowance, introduced by the labour prime minister Gordon Brown.  So real nurse 5000 pensioners struggling to heat and feed themselves.

Of dying for a combination of hypothermia and starvation.
