The contaminated blood scandal, also known as the infected blood scandal, took place in the United Kingdom between the 1970s and early 1990s. During this time, more than 30,000 NHS patients were given blood transfusions or treatments that used blood products that were contaminated with HIV or hepatitis C. This included people with bleeding disorders who were given infected blood products as part of their treatment. The scandal is considered the worst treatment disaster in the history of the NHS. 

This was a needless scandal!  The blood products were derived from inflated applied taken from tramps and low income individuals in America.  The blood screening should have separated out the infected blood.

2000 I was doing a PH D. Sheffield university into nuclear fusion, and we figured out that external application of ultrasound clears the foreign cell types, including all cancers plus viral and bacterial infections.

The ideas went across my contact with the national institute of health, and from there to Moffitt cancer centre.  Who were set up to find the cure to cancers.
